Prepare to be thrilled as the incredibly talented David Broza takes the stage to headline the highly anticipated Back to TY Festival!
An icon in the world of music, Broza's timeless classics like 'Yihye Tov' and 'Mitachat La'Shamayim' have been the indelible soundtrack for generations of Judaeans. You'll be captivated by his enchanting voice, virtuoso guitar skills, and sing along (you know the words) to some of your favorites!
Don't miss this incredible opportunity to celebrate 75 years of TY with an unforgettable performance by the legendary David Broza!
Buses roll out, see you next time! Or head to the after-party just up the road in Barryville courtesy of our friends at the new River's Edge (formerly the Carriage House, formerly Reber's...)
Besides teaming up to join the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, you can also head over the sports area for more casual play throughout the day. Grab a tennis racket and friend to hit a few, gather for a game of volleyball, and so much more. We’ll provide the equipment, you bring the crew and let loose.
We know how important it is for our younger campers to have their share of camp fun too. That's why we're offering a special treat for kids ages 5 and up. During select blocks during the day, your kids can be dropped off with our amazing staff for a little taste of camp magic (think Gaga, tie-dye, shira, games and more), giving the grown-ups a chance to enjoy some nostalgic camp moments of their own. It's a win-win situation!
Use our camp map to enjoy a self-guided journey through camp past, present, and future. More than just a stroll down memory lane, you’ll see places that have stood the test of time, check out new additions since you were here last, and learn about plans to transform our campus for the future as a part of our ‘Road to 100’. (Golf carts may be available for those with mobility challenges)

For 75 years, Tel Yehudah has been the summer home of tens of thousands of Jewish teens from across the United States and around the world. As Young Judaea’s national teen leadership camp, each summer we create a uniquely diverse and warm teen-only community dedicated to building lasting friendships, exploring Israel and Judaism through a pluralist lens, deepening connecting to the larger Jewish community, instilling a drive to take action and make a difference in the world, and, of course, having fun!
Tel Yehudah's Back to TY Festival will bring together hundreds of alumni, family and friends from over seven decades of camp from across North America and beyond. Attendees will participate in a full day of programmed festivities, including special live musical performances, a TY history exhibit, family-oriented programming, drop off child care options, a variety of camp activities, alumni-led content sessions, and so much more!
When you partner with Tel Yehudah as a sponsor, you will:
- Gain extensive visibility among TY’s diverse, multi-generational, multi-lingual and GLOBAL network of alumni spanning more than seven decades
- Have the unique opportunity to target an audience of savvy and influential consumers, including business owners, decision-makers in the Jewish community, entrepreneurs, and beyond
- Reach 25,000+ constituents through our verified email and social media platforms, including access to active and engaged groups and networks
Your generous support will help us level up the festivities, so we can:
- Offer an even more robust set of activities and experiences
- Increase opportunities for a wider range of alumni to reconnect and network
- Keep the cost of participation affordable in order to maximize attendance and celebrate with as many people as possible!
Download the TY75 Sponsorship Packet to learn more or email Rebekah Raz at rebekah@telyehudah.org to discuss opportunities to partner with us.

The Back to TY Festival Shuk offers the opportunity for artists, companies, and other businesses to display and sell products, connect with hundreds of multi-generational consumers, and expand networks in the camp alumni and friends community, while having some fun too!
Shuk (שוק) is the Hebrew word for marketplace, and a visit to the Shuk is a staple part of any trip to Israel. Whether visiting Shuk HaCarmel in Tel Aviv or Machane Yehudah in Jerusalem, the Israeli shuk is a vibrant place where you are constantly wowed by the diversity of people and products and almost always walk away with a token from your visit.
Positioned strategically in the center of the action, the Shuk at the Back to TY Festival will be a high traffic, social, and fun space. It will be the perfect place for attendees to hang out, grab snacks, and check out numerous vendors and their wares and where vendors can connect, deepen relationships, and enhance the overall Festival experience.
Shuk hours will be sensible and allow time for vendors to have some free time to relax and enjoy various festivities during the Festival.
To become a vendor ($360 per vendor registration) at the Shuk, please fill out our TY75 Vendor Registration Form.
To learn more about vendor and other partnership opportunities, email Rebekah Raz at rebekah@telyehudah.org.
TY Adult Camp is an all-inclusive weekend at camp from Thursday, August 17th through Sunday, August 20th. Adults 21 and older can feel like chanichim (campers) again during a weekend full of nostalgia and fun! You'll get to choose from a wide variety of activities all weekend long -- some you may remember from your days at camp AND others will be creative, wacky and new. All experiences are designed to let your inner camper out and help you leave behind the every day grind. Join us to re-live a classic weekend at TY...adultified:)
The Back to TY Festival will take place on Sunday, August 20th and is the MAIN EVENT and culmination of our 75th anniversary celebration year. Enjoy an epic day of festivities with hundreds of TYniks descending upon the banks of the Delaware to join us at camp for a full day of programmed festivities, including special live musical performances, a TY history exhibit, family-oriented programming, drop off child care options, a variety of camp activities, alumni-led sessions, and so much more! ALL are welcome - adults and kids, alike - to join for this very special camp celebration!
I'll be there! But, I'm not sure yet if I will attend the Back to TY Festival (Sunday only) or TY Adult Camp (the whole weekend)...
That's okay! We know that plans are still in progress! You can change your ticket type after you register (ex. if your purchase a Festival ticket, you can later update to Adult Camp). To edit your ticket, you will need to log into your Eventbrite account (which was created when you made your initial purchase) to view your order and edit your ticket type. Further instructions on how to edit your Eventbrite order can be found here.
PLEASE NOTE:
- You cannot edit the # of tickets, billing address or payment information after your initial purchase.
- Any additional tickets will require a separate registration and purchase (ex. you cannot update an individual Adult Camp ticket to a group discounted ticket).
DEFINITELY! While the Adult Camp weekend is only for adults 21+, at Sunday's Back to TY Festival, there will be programming for ALL AGES and will be the perfect opportunity to show your loved ones what you love so much about camp!
Kids will enjoy participating in specific camp activities geared toward kids and families and start to get excited for when they get to become a Young Judaea and TY camper themselves! We know many families will enjoy spending time together at our state-of-the-art pool, including a beach entry with fountains (a hit with the littles!), multiple slides, and plenty of space to lounge and hang out in the sun (or shade!)
For kids 5 years and older, there will be a few opportunities throughout the day's program to drop your kids off for a specified activity period with camp counselors (think pseudo day camp style!), so the adults can plan to enjoy some camp time on your own!
YES! A limited number of Early Bird tickets are available until 11:59pm ET on May 31, 2023 or when tickets sell out.
A special group discount is also available for TY Adult Camp! A group of 4 people or more can register to come to camp together and save $25 per person. Registration must be completed with one payment and by selecting the Cabin (Group of 4) rate. Responses to all questions must be provided by all members of the group, so make sure the person handling the group registration has everything in order prior to starting the process. It’s the perfect reason to plan a mini-reunion with your camp friends - we take care of the planning, you get together and enjoy!
YES!
We are offering private group transportation to and from camp for both TY Adult Camp and the Back to TY Festival that can be purchased at an added cost. Tickets for people traveling between camp and New York City and Newark Airport can be found and purchased directly from the 'Add-On' section of event registration.
Cell phone service is largely dependent on your carrier. Some carriers do have service, but reception levels vary and can be spotty depending on where you are on campus.
Wi-Fi is generally available throughout campus and we can provide login details to campers upon arrival.
Please understand that since camp is in a rural area, there can be outages that are out of our control. And the WiFi is often not strong enough for loads of people to be streaming, video chatting, or connecting to the world wide web all at once. So, take the opportunity to unplug for the weekend (literally and figuratively) and plug in to the community of amazing humans right in front of you. You can always go back to Zoom chats to stay in touch after camp!
Nom nom! Our amazing culinary team works hard to provide nutritious, diverse, tasty options all weekend long. We’ll offer meals that are a nod to traditional camp classics, but are elevated for adult enjoyment! Every meal includes a fresh salad bar, vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free, and lactose-free options. Tel Yehudah is a kosher facility and our kitchens are under rabbinical supervision.
If you want to enjoy a full weekend of festivities, we'd love to have you join us at TY Adult Camp from Thursday, August 17th through Sunday, August 20th!
If you're not planning to attend Adult Camp, but still interested in staying in the area, check out our Lodging section to learn about nearby lodging options.
Eyn ba'aya! Please send us an email at ty75@telyehudah.org and we will be happy to connect and answer any additional questions you may have.
Adult Camp is all-inclusive, which means we’ve got you covered all weekend-long. That means all accommodations, linens, meals, programs, and special experiences you won’t even expect. You just bring yourself and your inner child and leave the rest to us!
There may be additional swag, food and beverages available for purchase, if you decide you want to increase the merriment!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Tickets to TY Adult Camp are inclusive of all Sunday activities and the Back to TY Festival. You DO NOT need to purchase additional tickets for the Back to TY Festival.
At TY Adult Camp, you’ll leave behind the grind and live your best camp life – adultified! Throughout this special long weekend at camp designed specifically for adults, you’ll get to choose your own adventure from nostalgic camp activities you might remember, like rikud (Israeli dance) and shira (singing) to fun and creative activities like human foosball, flower wreath making, pickling/fermentation, shibori tie-dye, and so much more! With tons of variety, you’ll be able to pursue your own interests or push your boundaries and try something new and outside of your comfort zone! Campwide activities like a dance, Maccabia (Color War), and a bonfire complete with s’mores and a re-telling of the Rebecca Quick story are sure to be hits. Plus, we’ll build in lots more fun throughout the weekend that are sure to surprise and delight!
Whether it’s been 7 years or 7 decades since you were last a camper, the moment you step foot on site, you’ll feel that special camp magic and know you’re exactly where you want to be.
In addition to the early bird discount available for all events, a group of 4 people or more can register to come to TY Adult Camp together and save $25 per person.
Sorry, but not this time! This weekend is for adults only (21+), so leave your kids** and pets*** with their respective sitters and get ready to get away from it all! They’ll have a great time and so will you!
**Of course, we'd love to see your kids at the Back to TY Festival on Sunday! The Festival is for ALL AGES and there will be programming and activities specifically for kiddos to enjoy and get their own special taste of TY!
***If you have a service animal that you wish to accompany you to camp, please send an email to ty75@telyehudah.org to discuss.
Of course! Let us know who you’re coming with and that you’d like to stay together on the registration form. You can request to bunk up in a cabin with up to 11 other buddies or upgrade to sharing a private double room with only one other friend/partner/spouse. You can always reach out with additional requests later, if you find out that someone you’d be psyched to spend your weekend with has now registered.
And, whether you stay together or not, Adult Camp is the perfect place for a Year Course, camp, or other Young Judaea reunion - you bring your YJ/camp friends and we bring the fun!
Cabins:
Cabins will host up to 8-12 campers. If you have bunkmate requests, please include their full names as a part of the registration form.
Cabins include bunk beds, bathroom area with sinks and toilets, and individual shelving/storage space next to each bed. Some bunks have showers inside, some bunks are located next to a newly remodeled, shared shower house.
Private Rooms:
Option to upgrade with a supplemental fee to double or single occupancy private rooms.
For double private rooms, you can include a specific request to stay with someone on your registration form. If you do not request a specific roommate, or do not match with your request, we’ll assign you a roomie who might just become your adult camp bestie!
Private single and double rooms have two twin beds OR a double bed. Private rooms have in-room access to a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower that is shared with one other private room.
Yep. We’re all adults of legal drinking age, so you might enjoy kicking back with a (non-breakable) glass of wine with dinner or grabbing a beer while you play a game of cornhole. And, if you decide to stick to grape juice at Shabbat and beyond, that’s okay too - you’ll have a great time no matter what’s in your cup! Note that for safety reasons, alcohol isn’t served during daytime activities, plus you’ll probably be having too much fun to notice.
Camp leaders are Jewish adults who are excited to tap into their own skills, hobbies and passions to offer creative, fun, impactful experiences and activities all weekend-long. They are local ceramists, yoga teachers, musicians, Jewish educators, former tsevet (staff) at camp, and so much more. Most importantly, they are excited to create a magical camp experience for all of you!
TY Adult Camp is a full and immersive experience that is curated from the moment gates open all the way through Sunday's Back to TY Festival! People coming and going throughout the weekend will disrupt the community and experience we are building, so make sure you arrive on time and stay until the end. We’ll even let you in on a secret…you won’t even want to leave when the weekend is over!
That said, we do understand that sometimes something comes up and you can’t always predict a last minute curveball. Please reach out to let us know if you have conflict with arrival/departure timing, and we can work together to find the best solution. However, please note that program fees cannot be prorated.
If you can't make it the whole weekend, you can still get a ticket to join us for the Back to TY Festival on Sunday only:)
We’re all adults here, so we trust that we can all create a shared, positive experience together. So, while there is no shmira to stop you from sneaking out at night and counselors aren’t going to scold you if you’re late, we do have some ground rules to ensure we can create a welcoming, fun, and safe environment for all:
- R-E-S-P-E-C-T: You know the drill. You don’t have to be friends with everyone, but you do have to show each other respect and treat others the way you want to be treated. We each play a role in making sure that every person feels welcome at camp.
- This is our camp! So, please don’t cause damage. That goes for camp facilities, equipment, and other people’s personal property. We’re here to celebrate 75 years of camp and we want it to be here for 75 more.
- Illegal drugs = NO. Full stop. Camp and campers are subject to all local and federal laws. If you are caught using illegal drugs, you will be removed immediately at your own expense.
- No weapons of any kind: Weapons including, but not limited to, knives, guns, fireworks, smoke bombs, explosives or any flammable/hazardous materials are prohibited in camp, prohibited from being carried, and prohibited on camp property at all times. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave immediately who is caught violating or suspected of violating this policy.
- No excessive alcohol consumption: We're all about having fun, but please enjoy yourself within reason.
- Be open to new experiences! Camp is all about being in the moment, leaving behind the grind, and freeing yourself up to have fun and try new things!
Tel Yehudah has succeeded in creating a dynamic Jewish community of young people... (and) has succeeded in setting the standards to be followed by other Young Judaea camping programs throughout the country.
